Making A Circle With Fir Cones | Kids Learn Circle Shape

May 28, 2019

Ana learns to make a circle with fir cones using a string and two pencils.

Ana’s daddy and I are trying to offer her outdoor experiences, in the middle of nature. We let her admire, explore, play free, and sometimes find ideas for activities to learn or fix certain notions. This is how this video came up.

In order to understand the basic notions of geometry children need an experience in this regard. They need memories to use to understand the geometry.

The circle is the simplest geometric figure. It consists of all points at a distance equal to a fixed point. In our game today this distance was established with the help of a string of twigs connected to two colored pencils.
