Today CRN, one of the most trusted global news sources for the IT channel, published its annual list of the 25 most influential executives naming Lenovo’s CEO, Yuanqing Yang, as one of the top leaders offering solutions providers much-needed partnership at a time when they need it most.
Yang was highlighted for his work to diversify Lenovo’s business beyond PC to include server and mobile and the formation of a business group focused on solutions and services. Today, Lenovo’s non-PC business revenue mix has increased to nearly 40% of the company’s annual group revenue.
Yang was praised for leading Lenovo to profit levels not seen in nearly 20 years, despite a challenging economy while defending the company’s dominant position in the PC market.
In addition to Yang, CRN also named Vladimir Rozanovich, SVP, Worldwide Infrastructure Solutions Group Sales as one of the industry’s technology disrupters and Rob Cato, VP, North America Channels was highlighted as one of the top 25 channel sales leaders.
