Lenovo is pleased to report that it has been included in the 2022 Hang Seng Corporate Sustainability Index with the best score in the IT industry, receiving an AA+ rating for the second year in a row.
The rating from the Hang Seng Index relies on a sustainability assessment methodology which has been updated this year to reflect the increasing demand for climate-related disclosure and emissions reduction data by the investor community.
Among more than 575 Hong Kong-listed companies, Lenovo’s ESG performance was evaluated in seven areas from corporate governance, to human rights and consumer issues. Lenovo received its highest scores in the area of labor practices and community involvement. The AA+ score reflects Lenovo’s continuous commitment and efforts on environmental, social, and governance aspects.
