Lenovo has been recognized by EcoVadis for excellence in sustainable procurement, earning the Outstanding Program Leadership Award in the 7th annual Sustainable Procurement Leadership Awards.

The EcoVadis Sustainable Procurement Leadership Awards recognize companies leading the charge in engaging and integrating sustainability into their relationships with trading partners around the globe. The winners were announced during the EcoVadis Sustain 2023 conference on March 13th.
“For Lenovo, sustainability is not just a buzzword, but a core value that drives our strategy and operations,” Qing Qu, Senior Sustainability Specialist at Lenovo remarked when accepting the Outstanding Program Leadership award on behalf of Lenovo.
“We are constantly looking for ways to improve sustainability in our operations. This recognition is a testament to our commitment to creating a better world for future generations through sustainable business practices,” said Dustin Deal, Director of Global Supply Chain Sustainability, Lenovo.
Moreover, Lenovo’s efforts in net-zero emissions commitment by 2050 are part of the global supply chain sustainability initiatives. In January 2023, Lenovo was included in the first group of companies to have net-zero targets validated by the Science Based Targets initiative. Lenovo was also named in the Gartner Global Supply Chain Top 25 listing for 2022, rising seven places from 2021 to rank #9.
