Amelia Hired by Hoffman Financial Group as Virtual Assistant

The financial planning firm hired Amelia to handle inbound leads and schedule meetings for enhanced customer experiences.

Amelia, a leading Enterprise Conversational AI software company, today announced that Amelia has been hired by Hoffman Financial Group, a Georgia-based independent financial planning firm founded by Chris Hoffman. The firm specializes in retirement, tax, and estate planning, as well as personalized life insurance and investment management.

Hoffman Financial Group was looking for a solution to support lead generation and reduce staff costs within its contact center. In October 2021, the firm hired Amelia as Hoffman Financial Group’s virtual assistant to source and gather lead information, including age, asset worth, zip code and phone number. Based on leads’ zip codes, Amelia schedules in-person meetings with financial advisors at the closest office location.

The firm currently only posts media advertisements with Amelia’s phone number. Each week, Amelia handles all incoming prospect calls, during which Amelia captures lead information with a 90%-plus success rate. Amelia then feeds the information into Salesforce so that Hoffman Financial Group employees can conduct follow-up calls and meetings. Among the total calls handled by Amelia, more than 70% are converted into scheduled meetings with financial advisors.

In the future, Hoffman Financial Group plans on expanding Amelia’s responsibilities to include scheduling and rescheduling meeting times and locations, including outbound appointment scheduling and confirmation with existing clients via voice and text.
